After a fulfilling 33-year career in finance, Karen retired to focus on what matters most to her—spending cherished time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. A few years later, she was offered the opportunity to join the team at Empowered Midwifery Care, where she now serves as the Administrative Assistant. As the warm and welcoming face behind the front desk, Karen plays a vital role in creating a comforting and organized environment for clients. Beyond greeting visitors, she works diligently behind the scenes to ensure the office runs smoothly, supporting both clients and staff in countless ways. Karen deeply believes in the mission of EMC and takes great pride in contributing wherever she’s needed. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and visiting the coast of Maine.
