Since finding my own healing\, I’ve become passionate about postpartum health and supporting parents. In June 2023\, I created the Postpartum Support for Parents group at EMC\, which has truly been an honor to facilitate. \nSince the beginning of 2024\, I’ve also been a part of PSI’s Peer Mentor program\, where I’m able to offer help and support to moms struggling with PMADs (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders). \n  \n \n

DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Becky LaBombard\, CLC\, MSED\nTime: 9:30 – 11:30  AM\nLocation: 2 Normanskill Boulevard Suite 206 Delmar\, New York\nCost: Donation based \nA support group for parents and caregivers of breastfed children.  This forum is designed to build community and provide a space for discussing all things human milk-related.  Practice nursing\, pumping\, or bottle feeding outside of the home with peer and professional lactation support.  Come with your baby\, or on your own. Expectant parents\, nursing children\, and non-school-aged children are welcome to join. Come as you are\, stay or go as needed. You can expect to make connections\, create friendships\, and build community with other breastfeeding families. Facilitated by local Certified Lactation Counselor\, and owner of The Milk Mentor\, Becky LaBombard.
